A traditional grill house, well-known among the people of La Rioja and neighbouring regions. Founded by the parents of current owners Mar and Pablo, it has preserved its original essence, where the grill takes centre stage. The single set menu includes chorizo, blood sausage, grilled peppers, salad and grape-vine-smoked lamb chops. Rioja-style potatoes made to order. The selection may be limited, but the ingredients are of excellent quality. Pablo’s pastry skills shine through in the homemade canutillos and puff pastries, crafted entirely from scratch—including the custard. A laid-back atmosphere with long wooden tables and benches. It has a large glassed-in terrace and another one for the summer months. A sure bet.
