As lovers of fine food, we know how hard it can be to find the perfect place to enjoy a good meal, especially in towns and cities with an endless choice of restaurants. For that reason, in 2015 we created the Macarfi Guide to help you find the ideal venue for every occasion.

Since then, the Guide has become the go-to handbook for anyone who wants to enjoy new experiences, try local delicacies or simply find trustworthy places to eat well. It features over 4,000 restaurants in Catalonia, the Community of Madrid, the Basque Country, La Rioja, the Valencian Community, Andalucía, Cantabria and Asturias, but the list is constantly growing thanks to the reviews of our ambassadors.

The Guide is available in three versions: paper, website and app. The website and app are powered by a search engine that compares over 15,000 different options, helping you find the perfect restaurant for every occasion.

Our community of over 25,000 loyal followers inspired us to launch the Macarfi Club in 2023, a space for true food lovers. The Macarfi Guide is based on the reviews from over 2,000 ambassadors or independent local foodies. Our culinary team then assesses, analyses and rates over 4,000 establishments, merging all the opinions received about each venue into a single realistic, up-to-date and weighted review.
