The Macarfi Gala of 2024: The event that will reveal the list of the best restaurants of 2023 in Barcelona, Madrid, the Basque Country, Girona, La Rioja, Malaga and Valencia after the score of more than 2,000 gastronomes from the Macarfi Guide.
On February 5, the Macarfi Gala will be held at the NH Málaga, an event that in just a few years has become a benchmark of national prestige around the best restaurants in the country. This year the ninth edition of its awards gala is celebrated, in which ambassadors of the Guide, chefs and specialized journalists have chosen the best restaurants in the guide's usual cities: Barcelona, Madrid, the Basque Country, Girona and La Rioja , along with Valencia and Málaga as the new additions next year.
The gala will bring together the most important chefs from each city, accompanied by Manolo Carreras Fisas, president and founder of Macarfi, along with a broad representation of the gastronomic sector, as well as Malaga society. The Macarfi Gala will also witness the “Rookie of the Year” awards: a ranking of the best openings of the year that have taken place in 2023 in Barcelona, Madrid and the Basque Country.
In addition to the Awards Gala, Macarfi will present the new edition of its 2024 guide, a selection of the best restaurants that, since its foundation, has become the benchmark that evaluates, analyzes and rates more than 3,500 restaurants with reviews made by more of 2,000 gourmets.
