One of the most successful bars in Alicante. It is the urban version of the Racó del Pla restaurant, with a long tradition in the city. They offer a tapas menu with seafood, fried fish, shared dishes and small sandwiches, an à la carte menu for the dining room and several set menus. Favourites include white beans with clams, rice with veal shank, and the saquito Manzanares (pastry filled with beef, ham and bechamel, with an oxtail sauce) in honour of the bullfighter from Alicante. The restaurant has a generous bar and bar tables for a nice snack, as well as an indoor dining area. A classic where anything you order is a hit.
