Small place just round the corner from La Bretxa Market, in San Sebastián’s old quarter. Hot pintxos listed on a chalkboard. The bar isn’t surprising as practically everything is made to order. Dishes come in pintxo, half-portion or portion sizes. For rice lovers, the famous Idiazabal cheese risotto or the bomba rice with baby squid are worth a try. More authentic recommendations include the rib kebab, the veal cheeks and the pig’s ear. One of the temples of miniature cuisine and a mandatory stop on the pintxos route.
