Founded in 1825 by the Lac family, this restaurant is one of the oldest in Spain. It preserves its original charm with two floors, a wrought-iron staircase, wooden furniture and antique lamps. On the ground floor there’s a bar and tapas area; upstairs, an elegant dining room with dressed tables. Although not vegetarian, it pays tribute to vegetables from its own gardens in Navarra: artichokes, borage and asparagus feature alongside kokotxas and lamb shoulder. The vegetable tasting menu is highly recommended. A well-chosen wine list and professional service complete the experience. A historic benchmark that has managed to keep its spirit alive.
