Tucked away in the Zona Franca area, a bar well worth discovering. Noisy, no-frills venue, always packed with locals. À la carte menu chalked up on a blackboard, daily specials "reeled off" by the waiters and set lunch menu with very good value for money. Famous for its hearty breakfasts and delicious substantial dishes at lunchtime. Lots of slow-cooked stews that you’ll want to mop up with bread. Grilled or stewed meat, cod with ganxet beans, some fine omelettes and excellent tripe. Kind, friendly staff. Zero glamour but great fun. Best to book. A place you will want to come back again and again.
