Tucked away in the Zona Franca area, a bar well worth discovering. Noisy, no-frills venue very popular with the locals. The à la carte menu is chalked up on a blackboard while the daily specials are "reeled off" by the waiters. Famous for its hearty breakfasts and delicious substantial dishes at lunchtime. Lots of slow-cooked stews that you’ll want to mop up with bread. Grilled or stewed meat, cod with ganxet beans, some fine omelettes and excellent tripe. Kind, friendly staff. Zero glamour but great fun. A great no-frills eatery.
