The kitchen is successfully run by Robert, the former chef of Bodega 1900. The menu features creative market-style cuisine with substance. Favourites include the potato salad, the stracciatella, their delicious, thinly-sliced marinated aged beef, and stewed calamari. Don’t miss the bread with dipping oil. They also offer good desserts, like crème caramel and cheesecake. Good wine list and reasonable prices. It is always full, so booking is essential. An excellent option in Mataró.
