In the medieval town of Rupit is the charming Hostal Estrella. The ground floor houses this restaurant serving Catalan cuisine made from local, seasonal produce. Short à la carte menu, two set menus and a good wine selection. Wide range of dishes, from a Pals-style rice dish to a monkfish suquet, through to grilled lamb. Rustic, comfortable space with linen-draped tables and a lovely terrace. Impeccable mise en scène. Friendly staff and reasonable prices. You can’t go wrong here!
