Mexican chef Roberto Ruiz (Barracuda Mx, Madrid) has landed in Barcelona at the NH Constanza Hotel. Pleasantly decorated premises with a spacious, quiet terrace inside the block's interior courtyard. The menu focuses on Pacific Coast Mexican cuisine, with nods to Catalan ingredients and contemporary touches. There’s a variety of guacamoles, tacos and some heartier fish dishes. The tacos al pastor and the marrow with rib tacos come highly recommended. To complement the meal, there’s an extensive selection of mezcal and tequila-based cocktails. Both the menu and wine list are reasonably priced. A pleasant surprise.
