This tiny trattoria, with an open kitchen and barely half a dozen closely set tables, is tucked away on a quiet street in El Born. The lack of space is more than made up for by excellent Tuscan cuisine prepared with seasonal ingredients. The menu is short but thoughtfully curated, featuring less common antipasti such as pappa pomodoro and pasta dishes like pappardelle with white rabbit ragù or tagliatelle with truffle. The endless tiramisu is an invitation to indulge without guilt. Attention to detail shines through, from the bread and butter to the friendly service and the solid selection of Italian wines. Booking is essential. A soulful little spot with big ambitions.
