This traditional restaurant is, without a doubt, a point of reference for the Cantabrians themselves. Located in the village of Caviedes, it has a small dining room, a bar and a tiny terrace. Their star dish is the cocido montañés (mountain-style bean stew), although other favourites include the grilled red meats and the meatballs with potatoes. One thing is for sure: nobody goes away hungry. As a pleasant surprise, they have a wine cellar with seven hundred labels, a passion of the Cofiño family. An obligatory stop for anyone in the area.
