A landmark on the outskirts of Santander where you know you are going to eat well as soon as you cross the threshold. Simple venue with a glazed terrace, a great outdoor area for snacks, and its own car park. Friendly, approachable staff happy to make recommendations. Renowned above all for its famous calamari and excellent raw ingredients, although everything is delicious here. Market-fresh cuisine with a focus on fish, seafood and molluscs, served in generous portions. Don’t miss the monkfish, battered hake and calamari. The homemade desserts on display in the dining room are also to die for. Be sure to book in advance, especially in the summer. You’ll be wanting to come back before you’ve even left.
