An old farmhouse, beautifully restored and surrounded by fields and forests, is home to a family-run restaurant offering an updated Catalan-Empordà cuisine. The minimalist interior contrasts with the rustic exterior. There are two spacious dining rooms and a pleasant outdoor area. They serve soul food based on traditional recipes and local, seasonal products. Classic stews, grilled meats, the catch of the day, outstanding rice dishes and a memorable lobster with potatoes set the tone. A carefully curated wine list with interesting references from small producers, and warm, efficient service complete the experience. A very pleasant one indeed.
