Charming mountain restaurant at the back of the little Mas de Xaxàs Hotel. Wooden tables, stone walls and views of the river that give it an inviting, magical air. Pleasant terrace in high demand. Set menu only at lunchtime, and tapas menu at night. Mediterranean cuisine with signature details. Mountain fideuá noddles, salmon, croquettes, steak tartare and more. Save room for the desserts: they have an excellent reputation. Amiable service at a slow and steady pace. Well worth the trip.
