The younger sister of the Echaurren establishments serves up simple, delicious and classic recipes that highlight the value of tradition and friendly service. Time-honoured dishes such as “broken” eggs, followed by an excellent lemon tart for dessert, are reason enough to return again and again. There’s a flexible set menu designed for sharing and a short wine list focused on local labels. Service is led by long-standing members of the team. The space is cosy, with old-style floors and large wooden tables. Open from Friday evening to Sunday lunchtime only.
