Restaurant set in the countryside. A must-visit if you go to see the Monastery of Valvanera. Spacious and welcoming interior, complete with a fireplace. Famous for their bean soups. Red beans grown right in the village of Anguiano, served with pickled peppers and bits of meat and sausages. The menu also features mixed vegetables, cod confit, Rioja-style tenderloin, chops, lamb casserole and trout in brine, from the nearby Najerilla river. Everything is simple, home-made and delicious. Pleasant service. Great for getting your strength back during a morning or afternoon hike.
