Asador de Viloria

On the outskirts of León, in Viloria de la Jurisdicción, hides a traditional grill house with a classic dining room and white tablecloths. Slow cooking reigns here, with dishes such as roast suckling lamb and pig, creamy croquettes and a Castilian soup that makes winter feel warmer. Between cecina cured meat, black pudding and old-fashioned stews, every dish tastes like Sunday. For dessert, the cheese and blueberry ice cream is the perfect finishing touch. A word to the wise: be sure to reserve the suckling pig in advance—it tends to sell out fast.
