Underground, among stone walls and the cool air of a cellar, this Valdevimbre hideaway has a special charm. Set in a cave converted into a dining room, it combines rustic character with thoughtful details and a terrace perfect for lingering after the meal. The cuisine keeps León tradition alive, with comforting stews, offal and meats, alongside contemporary touches such as fried chickpeas with prawns, red meat carpaccio with olive oil ice cream and confit artichokes. If there’s room, homemade ice cream or coffee made in a pot provide the perfect finish. All, of course, accompanied by a Prieto Picudo from the DO León.
