Akiro

Concept created by the Peruvian chef Luis Arévalo (Gaman). The offering is centred around the chef’s  hand rolls made with large leaves of nori seaweed filled on the spot with rice, different types of fish and a variety of dressings. Other options include nigiri, sashimi and dishes with Nikkei twists. To wash it all down, a limited selection of wines and sake. Simple, minimalist venue with a bar counter for twenty-four diners. They don't take bookings so you may have to wait. Good for grabbing a quick and affordable bite of something different.
