A hundred years of history embrace this tavern located a stone’s throw from Atocha. Traditional, homemade tapas and small dishes. Their different styles of cod are very good, as are the potato omelette, the scrambled eggs with sea urchin and caviar and the famous croquettes. Around two hundred wines to choose from. Classic décor with tiled walls, marble table-tops and a quieter dining room at the back. Warm, friendly service. Usually full. An old classic.
