This Burgos-style tavern in the Hortaleza neighbourhood serves traditional Castilian cuisine, prepared with quality ingredients and a skilful touch. The roast lamb, prepared to perfection, is the restaurant’s signature dish. Also not to be missed are the marinated dishes, tripe, veal sweetbreads and Burgos black pudding. The dining room is simple, with linen-draped tables and a friendly atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Although it’s a bit of a way from the city centre, it’s a must-visit for lovers of good Castilian cuisine.
