Castilian grill house founded in 1850 under the arcades of Sepúlveda’s Plaza Mayor. Run by the same family for six generations, it has remained faithful to tradition. The menu leaves no room for distractions: here you come to eat juicy churro lamb, slow-roasted in a wood-fired oven and served in a clay dish. A simple salad of lettuce and tomato is the only accompaniment, and for dessert, the ponche segoviano tart is a standout. Open only at lunchtime. Booking ahead is essential on weekends. An iconic spot offering pure, unadulterated tradition.
