After being closed for more than twenty years, this historic venue, founded in 1907, has been restored to its former glory thanks to a meticulous renovation that has preserved its spectacular tiled murals. The venue combines a tavern, a restaurant and a flamenco venue. In the restaurant, traditional Madrid cuisine focuses on stews, hearty dishes, and grilled meat and fish, using seasonal ingredients and offering off-menu suggestions. The wine cellar is outstanding, featuring a superb selection of Spanish and international wines. The street-level tavern reinterprets some of Madrid’s classic tapas. A traditional eatery with soul, adapted to modern times.
