After being closed for more than twenty years and undergoing a meticulous refurbishment, this historic tavern in the capital has reopened its doors. Alongside the restaurant and the tablao, it offers a lively bar area and several dining rooms where updated Madrid-style cuisine takes centre stage. The menu revives and reinterprets classic Madrid tapas such as gildas, minutejos (crispy pig's ear sandwich), croquettes, bravas potatoes and potato salad, as well as a fine selection of fresh seafood. A refreshed tavern that feels as though time has barely passed.
