El Saladero has transformed from an unassuming seaside bar to one of the top beach bars in Málaga. With more than fifty years of history, this establishment in Caleta de Vélez is a must-visit in the area. The restaurant has no menu, and their dishes are primarily based on flavours from the sea. Their products come from the Málaga fish markets, as well as from Huelva, Cádiz and Motril. Fried fish, fish skewers and more elaborate dishes. Some of their more popular dishes include potatoes with scarlet shrimp and fried egg, prawn and leek croquettes, and their famous tuna with tomato sauce.
