A Cova da Xabreira

Beneath Mount Xabreira, in the heart of the Seadur caves, this former winery turned restaurant is the very essence of rural charm. Dining within stone walls, overlooking the Valdeorras valley, is reason enough to make the trip. The menu focuses on traditional local dishes: grilled octopus, squid with potatoes and chops by weight, all paired with their own Godello or Mencía wines. Desserts such as coffee flan or fried pastry rolls provide the perfect sweet finish. Friendly service, a unique setting and delicious food. Eating in a cave has never been so luminous.
