A few kilometres from Palencia and surrounded by nature, this long-standing restaurant, open since the 1960s, offers traditional cuisine from Palencia prepared with care and a modern touch. The menu is varied, featuring rice dishes, pasta, fish and a wide selection of quality meats. One of their specialities is the teja: a base of fried potatoes topped with your choice of vegetables, black pudding, foie or imitation elvers, and finished with two fried eggs. Other highlights include the local menestra stew and mango gazpacho with pickled partridge. A daily set menu is also available. A charming local classic.
