The undisputed star of this grill house is the meat. The owner personally selects the restaurant’s premium cuts. The meat is seared in a wood-fired oven, sliced, and then given a touch of heat with its own fat. It is then brought to the table at room temperature and slightly undercooked. This method is something you either love or don’t. There are hardly any starters; the focus is entirely on the meat. Iberian pork loin, aged beef, Galician Rubia beef, and more. To accompany, papas arrugás (“wrinkled” potatoes) with mojo picón (a typical sauce from the Canary Islands). The restaurant has several dining rooms with traditional tavern décor and bullfighting motifs. A must for meat lovers.
