This is no ordinary restaurant, but the experience is well worth the journey. The house of Jon and Urtzi, two young chefs with enthusiasm and talent, aims to spark conversation and connection between strangers. The space recreates a haute cuisine “txoko”, and the journey begins with appetisers at the bar before moving to the table, with views of the kitchen. It hosts just eight diners per service, at lunch and dinner sittings on weekends. The tasting menu includes wine pairing and changes according to their own kitchen garden, the season and the chefs’ imagination. Booking is essential. For those willing to take the plunge and let themselves be surprised.
