Privileged location at the edge of Bakio Beach, just a few minutes from San Juan de Gaztelugatxe. Run by the same family for fifty years, nowadays the founders’ daughters Sorkunde and Gotzone are the ones in charge. A pintxo bar and a few tables inside, a glazed outdoor dining room and a small terrace. The specialities include snails, tripe and snout in rich sauces. The fried hake on begihandi (squid) and grilled crab are also very popular. An excellent wine list, as you would expect in the cradle of Vizcaya txakoli. A must if you're touring the coast.
