A small restaurant with a giant soul at the foot of mount Gorbea. Ubide is an herriko tavern that transcends political leanings to serve good food with elements of Sicilian and Canary Island cuisine. Try one of their less common, but no less delicious dishes: almogrote from the Canary Islands, local leeks with romesco sauce, Milanese stew, Sicilian caponata with capers, or octopus with mojo picón sauce, among others. Or if you feel the urge, order one of their delicious burgers. Good wine list with interesting selections at reasonable prices. Pleasant and friendly service guaranteed to make you smile. A nice little spot to duck into after a walk in the mountains.
