Time-honoured restaurant with linen-draped tables and coloured chairs in the pleasant dining-rooms overlooking the mountains. Well-kept terrace divided into two areas for casual or à la carte eating. Quality pintxos and small dishes at the bar: the classic rabas (fried strips of squid), potato salad, and first-rate croquettes. The à la carte menu for table service includes stews, such as tripe (the house specialty), but fish and meat dishes such as the T-bone steak, which has its own fan club, should not be overlooked. A restaurant that still lives up to the way things were done traditionally.
