Small establishment in the village of Balmaseda, only twenty minutes away from Bilbao. Cosy atmosphere and décor based on sustainable materials like cork, wood and ceramic. Market-fresh cuisine with creative and international touches that give it character. At the bar the potato omelette stands out and at the dining room there’s an appetizing menu. Burgers, baos, gyozas, tacos, risotto and the typical putxera stew, among other dishes. Tasting menu if you book ahead that is well worth it: it’s the best option to get to know their gastronomy. Young team with good eye and eager to do things right. A safe bet in any of their formats.
