As the name suggests, this is an authentic Asturian eatery. The chef’s home doubles as a no-frills restaurant that serves finely executed dishes amidst views of the green Asturian countryside and some of the abandoned mines that once dominated the area. The sole offering is a market-fresh set menu comprising a selection of starters, fish, meat or stew, and a dessert. The rice with pitu (wild Asturian chicken) and the croquettes are a must. The signal is sometimes weak so make sure you take cash. A pleasant surprise.
