In the heart of western Asturias, this family-run restaurant and rural hotel is a shining example of local tradition and innovation. At the helm is Mirta, who has transformed the recipes of her childhood into a contemporary offering full of identity. Her pote de nabizas, stuffed cabbage or Casín ox stews—from her own cattle—are all traditional cuisine, slow-cooked and made with her own ingredients. The service is warm and attentive. The place, a large stone and wood house, is cosy. A soulful place that gives voice to a region too often overlooked.
