In the historic centre of Valderrobres, a dining room with stone walls and wooden beams provides the setting for contemporary cuisine deeply rooted in the Matarraña region. The à la carte menu and the two tasting menus offer dishes such as roe deer, chickpeas from La Portellada, aubergine with romesco sauce, and coquelet with prawns and porcini mushrooms. Sauces play an important role, although they can occasionally be a little too generous, and some cooking points could also be more precise. The desserts maintain the creative tone, and the wine list focuses on local wines. An interesting establishment, with room to grow.
