Neither the exterior nor the interior of this traditional neighbourhood seafood bar attracts attention. Nevertheless, the low profile conceals high quality ingredients and delicious homemade dishes. Sandwiches, tapas, small portions and a daily set menu. Prawn and scarlet shrimp croquettes or murex snails hobnob with classic tapas such as grilled red pepper and cod salad or potato salad. What’s more, a great variety of fish and meats. Prices are reasonable for most dishes, although they will be more expensive if you order blue lobster, Galician spider crab or langoustine. The wine list also harbours a few surprises. Quick, pleasant service, despite the place being almost always full. It's best to book ahead.
