This bar-restaurant, with a bar, open kitchen and retro décor, is usually packed and attracts a predominantly young crowd. At lunchtime they offer a daily special, and for lunch or dinner they serve tapas, small dishes and sandwiches. The succulent Spanish omelette pincho is a hit, along with the potato salad, the bikini toasted sandwich or the artichokes with guanciale. On Sundays, the menu is limited to gildas and macaroni. The wine list is short but well-chosen. It’s best to arrive early or book a table. Cheap and cheerful.
