This small, simply decorated, slightly old-school spot is usually packed with locals and nearby office workers. The menu, centred on Galician cuisine, works just as well with fish and seafood as it does with meat. Must-orders include Galician-style octopus, black pudding with caramelised apple, pig’s ear or Galician beef cooked on a hot stone. Everything is good value for money. The atmosphere is warm and familiar, with the owner acting as the true host and undisputed soul of the house. A Galician through and through.
