This traditional and authentic tapas bar, in the heart of El Born, has been making its own cava (xampanyet) since 1929. The menu offers a wide variety of tapas, all tempting and reasonably priced. The venue is small, lively and full of character, with just a handful of tables and space at the bar, where the product is displayed. It tends to get busy, and queuing is often unavoidable, but waiting your turn is part of the ritual. A hugely popular spot where quality ingredients and a no-fuss approach are the order of the day.
