In a tourist area where options aimed at locals are scarce, this restaurant – housed in a building with a Modernist façade and décor – comes as a pleasant surprise. The space is spread over two floors and features a long bar. Chef Albert Ventura (Coure) presents a Catalan and Mediterranean proposal through tapas and more substantial dishes. They also offer a competitively priced set lunch menu. The dishes, simple yet very well executed, range from croquettes or bravas to cardinal macaroni, escalivada or oxtail. A very pleasant experience.
