Don't be fooled by this establishment's humble appearance on the outside or the inside because the food will surprise you. Homemade recipes, fresh seasonal ingredients and that slow cooking that demands time and patience are what matter here. There is no menu: Álex, owner and chef, explains the day’s offering with contagious enthusiasm. Fricandó stew, oxtail, cod with capipota, squid or eggs with truffle are just a few examples of an honest, well-crafted cuisine. As prices are not shown, the bill may bring the occasional surprise. The space retains a somewhat dated seventies aesthetic, but the warm service adds authenticity. It doesn’t disappoint.
