Tucked away in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat, this restaurant is deceptive at first glance: small, with dated décor and marble tables topped with paper placemats. But once seated, their seafaring cuisine quickly wins you over. Fish, seafood and well-executed stews take centre stage, with dishes such as lobster stew, mussels, griddled turbot, brothy rice or chickpeas with sea cucumbers and fried eggs. Everything is flavourful and prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. There’s no written menu here; the staff recite both the dishes and the wines. A neighbourhood bar with a family feel, where you eat very well indeed.
