An excellent choice for a romantic lunch or dinner in Vilafranca del Penedès. The space features elegant and sober décor, with well-dressed, widely spaced tables and an open kitchen where guests can watch the chefs in action. The menu showcases Catalan cuisine made from local produce with lots of obvious love and care. There is an à la carte selection as well as two well-rounded tasting menus. Standout dishes include the red prawn carpaccio with caviar and the roast meat cannelloni with black truffle béchamel and Périgord sauce from its carcass—an absolute delight. The wine list is extensive, though prices are on the higher side. A place that never fails.
