With years of experience at the family-run Sarasate restaurant in Pamplona and as head chef in Martín Berasategui, Moisés Leránoz has won over the palates of this coastal town. The modest, simply decorated space gives little hint of the exceptional home-style cooking it houses. The menu, handwritten daily in a notebook, changes regularly but often features much-praised dishes like the creamy rice with clams and pork trotters, along with lovingly prepared traditional stews. Booking is essential. A quality eatery where honesty, simplicity and warm hospitality are the name of the game.
