The history of this iconic bar, situated on the seafront, goes back to 1947. Its seafood-centric menu is concise, but nonetheless captivating. There are only two tapas options: cuttlefish and mussels, both served with a secret sauce known only to the chef. They also offer sandwiches with names like "the firefighter" and "the policeman", as well as what some consider to be the region's finest cremaet (a Valencian dessert coffee with brandy and cinnamon). Frequented by devoted clientele, many port workers come here for breakfast. Be aware, it's not always open and doesn't serve a sit-down lunch. As flamenco singer Lola Flores once said, "It doesn't sing or dance, but you can't miss it!"
