At the entrance of a campsite, in a historic manor house in La Zubia, you’ll find a shrine for meat lovers with a classic-style dining room, large windows and a fireplace that adds warmth. The grill and the wood-fired oven take command. Meats from different regions go through their ageing before being cooked over the coals, alongside roasted suckling lamb and suckling pig. Among the specialities are cochifrito, lamb sweetbreads and oxtail. The starters deliver without stealing attention from the fire, the desserts finish things off nicely and the almost endless wine cellar turns the visit into a feast.
