This restaurant, founded by the much-missed Marisa Sánchez, mother of chef Francis Paniego, is a key part of the history of traditional Riojan cuisine. Highlights include the legendary croquettes, which are out of this world, crystal peppers, stews, caparrón beans and fried hake. À la carte dining, tasting menu and set lunch menu with good value for money. Efficient service and an extensive wine cellar with local and international references.
