In a small village in Pallars Sobirà, chef Mariano Gonzalvo welcomes ten diners who share a table while he cooks live and interacts with them. He prepares a surprise tasting menu made with locally sourced ingredients, many of which come from his own garden. The open kitchen encourages conversation and allows guests to follow the creative process from the inside, although the dishes are not revealed until the end. Expect dishes such as chestnut soup with egg and ham, aubergine with sesame and yoghurt, and foal's Achilles tendon. Mariano and his wife are warm hosts and make their guests feel like family.
